Silver prices moved up by 0.93 per cent to Rs 43,680 per kg in futures trade today as speculators increasing their positions, tracking a firming global trend. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in May rose by Rs 402, or 0.93 per cent to Rs 43,680 per kg in business turnover of 733 lots.
In a similar fashion, the white metal for delivery in July contract moved up by Rs 361, or 0.82 per cent to Rs 44,340 per kg in 56 lots. Meanwhile, silver climbed 1.9 per cent to USD 23.70 an ounce in London.

Today as speculators enlarged their positions. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in August contract rose by Rs 297, or 1.14 per cent to Rs 26,421 per ten grams in business turnover of 9
lots.
Similarly, the yellow metal for delivery in June contract gained Rs 287, or 1.12 per cent to Rs 25,987 per ten grams in 2,528 lots. Meanwhile, gold rose 2.6 per cent to USD 1,426.05 an ounce in London.
